From an administration point of view it's very easy to setup and manage. A clean uncluttered admin interface means less time searching for the correct page to do specific admin tasks. The default front-end (or shop interface) is also clean and uncluttered, meaning your customers will love shopping on your website. Best of all the software is so well laid out that you only need to add a logo and your products, to start selling - nothing else to do. The biggest headache for most shop owners is getting the front end looking decent - this isn't an issue with OpenCart.

Spending money or time on a "look". You should be spending time and money on marketing your website. The "look" of your store will not sell anything, sure it must be professional looking, but many people spend hundreds of dollars creating a "look" that will not give back any returns.
