Days to leave on Server

The wizards that setup your POP3 email do a pretty average job. Most of them set your email to be kept on the server forever. This doesn't matter in the short term but in the long term it means you will run out of space.

In most cases the correct setting should be to delete email from the server once it is downloaded. The exception to this is if you are using your smartphone to read emails when you are out of the office. It this case your smartphone email client should be set to never delete from the server. Your office laptop email client should be set to delete emails from server once downloaded.
